Job Description and Missions

CAPA INTERIM, a general temporary employment agency based in Laval, is recruiting for one of its customers, a manufacturer and expert in waste sorting solutions and hygiene equipment:

An Operational Marketing Assistant – Data and Referencing (M/F)

You will work under the responsibility of the Marketing Manager and in collaboration with the Sales Managers and Referencing Managers.

Your missions :

→ Search Engine Optimization and Operational Marketing

  • Contractual customer relations: ensuring that negotiated commercial agreements are implemented and that negotiated rates are respected by entering them into the Sage X3 ERP system.
  • Respond to customers’ needs regarding product characteristics by providing the necessary data.
  • Monitor operational marketing operations set out in the annual promotion and communication plan, and ensure their implementation (e-mailing via Brevo).
  • Contribute to the implementation of promotional operations and the updating of product sheets.
  • Analyze customer media (catalog or website) and gather information on the competition.
  • Assist sales management in responding to and following up on calls for tender.

→ Communication

  • Propose and develop the content of communication media and tools, and monitor their production.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the company’s internal and external communication initiatives.
  • Communicate our CSR strategy to our customers.
  • Participate in the organization and logistics of trade shows.

→ Data & SEO 

  • Updating and improving the reliability of internal databases.
  • Collection and processing of product and customer data.
  • Creation and follow-up of customer matrices.
  • Numerical analysis (sales, margins, etc.).
  • Transmission of product data for listings.
  • Monitoring the application of contractualized commercial negotiations.
  • Tariff grid management.

Position to be filled as soon as possible on a fixed-term contract working 35 hours a week for a period of one year at the Montsûrs (53) site. 

Profile required

– You have a higher education qualification and initial experience in executive assistant, marketing or communications.
– You have a good knowledge of the Office package, with an excellent command of Excel (V searches, pivot tables, etc.).
– You are comfortable with computer processing of product or customer data.
– You have an affinity for graphic design (proficiency in Canva or other software).
– You have knowledge of Sage X3 ERP (an additional asset).

You are a self-starter, rigorous and eager to work with technical teams.

You have the ability to translate product information into customer benefits.

You are responsive, able to manage priorities, a team player and good at interpersonal relations.
