Industrial Buyer (M/F)
You’ll be working for a family-run SME that develops, manufactures and markets milk coolers, winemaking equipment, process equipment and cryogenic freezers for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
Reporting to the Purchasing team, after training and integration, you will be in contact with the company’s internal departments and part of the panel of suppliers and service providers.
As such, to guarantee the company’s competitiveness, you will be responsible for your choices in line with the quality/delivery/cost triptych, the CSR approach and the purchasing policy.
The portfolio entrusted to us includes purchases of raw materials, components, consumables, investments in production facilities, etc.
Your main tasks will be as follows:
– Participate, in line with department objectives, in the renegotiation of purchasing families and prepare tender documents.
– Launch consultations, validate products internally, ensure production launch and handle any associated disputes
– Negotiate with potential suppliers, within the framework of forecast costs or budgets.
– Validate the supplier by applying the specific quality assurance procedure and involving the project team
– Formalize the specific framework contract with the purchasing clauses for the supply of resources or services, as well as the internal technical data for subsequent orders.
– Develop the supplier base by monitoring technological and commercial developments and sourcing purchases in an international context
– Participate in interface work between the R&D department and suppliers as part of co-development or investment projects
– Conduct global sourcing projects in collaboration with Group subsidiaries
