A Team Leader – UAP Assembly (M/F)
You’ll be working for a family-run, internationally-focused SME with strong human values. Our business revolves around our expertise in stainless steel boiler making, where we design, manufacture and market high-quality equipment for milk cooling, winemaking and also for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
As part of a newly created position, you will be reporting to the UAP Montage manager to support the ramp-up and skills development of the milk cooler business.
Working with other departments, you will be responsible for coordinating activity and human resources, while respecting safety, quality, deadlines and costs.
→ Your duties as Workshop Manager:
- Organize and monitor workshop production progress
- Allocate staff to optimize flows (job balancing)
- Understand the technical aspects of UAP’s products and businesses
- Lead progress actions in your sector
- Process production indicators (OEE, team performance, etc.)
→ Your role as line manager of a team of 15 to 25 operators:
- Participative management where communication is key
- Maintaining a good social climate
- Lead a short meeting every day
- Welcoming and integrating new arrivals
- Conduct individual interview campaigns
- Developing autonomy and versatility
- Ensuring compliance with instructions
